The Wairarapa Pūkaha to Kawakawa Alliance invites the Wairarapa community to our annual Biodiversity Hui:
Kei te mahi tātou mō te taiao | Communities working together for nature
The Hui is a great opportunity for anyone involved or interested in environmental projects in the Wairarapa to network, learn, share ideas and find ways to work together to achieve our vision of thriving native biodiversity, waterways to be proud of and prosperous communities.
The focus for our Hui this year is our new regional Pest Animal Strategy and how we can work together to address pest animals for the protection our forests and native wildlife.
Guest speaker, Dan Henry will talk about Predator Free Miramar, how it started, its successes and how to keep the momentum going.
