Our networking hui is on Thursday, September 19th at 7 p.m. Our guest speaker is Davey Hughes, founder of Swazi Outdoor Clothing. He will share why protecting biodiversity is crucial to him, drawing from his many adventures both abroad and in the Mangatārere Valley, where he makes his home.
At the hui, we will share the focus for WaiP2K for 2024; connecting people to the natural world in their backyards. WaiP2K believes that the biodiversity and climate crises are inextricably linked. A collaborative network of actively engaged local community volunteers and partners is indispensable to improving native biodiversity and combating climate change.
