Free 3-hour field days event 28th March in Masterton
Want to grow some trees on your farm, but not pines? Learn about the benefits of planting alternative species. This free 3-hour field day involves a tour of a featured property (available on registration). A NZ Farm Forestry member will share their experience – a description of the location, why the trees were chosen, how they were planted, their survival and performance, the environmental benefits they have provided, and the costs and expected returns.
Hosted by the NZFFA, with support from Te Uru Rākau – NZ Forest Service.
Everyone is welcome but registration is essential, as details of the Masterton location is included in the email confirmation. Brochures, tea and coffee will be available. Register here https://www.nzffa.org.nz/events/
