WaiP2K is hosting a pest plant control workshop with Peter Russell, Managing Director of Aotearoa Biodiversity Co. Ltd. Peter is a revegetation and weed management specialist.
The workshop will cover wise weed management: the fundamental concepts, biodiversity threats, environmental weeds, and practical control methods.
Lots of tailored information especially suited to our five ecological districts between Pukaha and Kawakawa, that fall under the Protected Natural Areas programme: Puketoi, Tararua, Eastern Wairarapa, Wairarapa Plains, and Aorangi.
Bring along any questions you may have about your own pest plant control efforts.
A light supper is provided, and registration is required.
